February is the month of love, and this is how we celebrated Valentine’s Day at Joina City.
We were excited to introduce the Valentine Couple Games, a series of fun activities and challenges with numerous prizes to be won. Here’s a recap of what happened. The event began with a serenading saxophone performance from Sir Arundel, setting the perfect mood for the festivities that followed. DJ Tats Blessed took over next, keeping the energy high as the games commenced.
Joined by MC Baluti to keep everything organised, we started with a candy-eating contest where the first person to finish their candy pack emerged victorious! Next, we held an ice cream-eating contest, and we were amazed to witness whole ice cream cones being devoured in less than two seconds!
We then turned up the excitement with an electrifying dance segment filled with vibrant moves and high energy. The event also featured quiz segments, “Know Your Best Friend” challenges, more ice cream, more dancing, and concluded with a best-dressed competition.
The mall was buzzing with enthusiastic spectators on every floor who enjoyed the event, and we also streamed it live on our Facebook page for those who couldn’t attend.
Prizes included a smartwatch, premium wigs, T-shirts, caps, perfumes, can openers, Valentine’s hampers, Zambias, meal vouchers, and a set of premium plates. All these gifts were made possible by our wonderful tenants and sponsors.
